Line Up

I have a piece in this exhibition.

It's on till Saturday so if you're near London please go. There are so many great artists and lots to see. I'm honoured to be a part of it.

Print Club London

Sorry for the silence this last month. I was busy working with Print Club London. What I did in short was print a load of stuff and help run their section at Pick Me Up. It was super good. My buddy Arthur Joined me too.

I got to meet / hang / chat with some super cool illustrators such as Fatherless , Mat PringleMargaux Carpentier and Anthony Peters Just to name a few. I also very briefly met the Peskimo guys who were really lovely.

Sorry for the lack of photos and the terrible quality.

Things we made:

Pick Me Up (featuring Arthur Hamer) :

Thanks Print Club. It was awesome.

business cards

Whenever I print something I try to section off a small part to turn into business cards. Its like giving out free prints, which is cool.

an average day

The second challenge for this collective thing was to do some sort of comic about your day as an illustrator.
I scribbled down loads of ideas, then threw them away and repeated the process again. I did this for about three days. Somehow I ended up with some prints that were really far away from the truth and I had to pull it all together despite not thinking about the layout or the script.

Overall it's ok.
I think the images look better on their own individually.

I am now going to drown myself in tea.

So if you like Illustration, Zines, Comics, Collectives etc. Please come, say hi and buy stuff. Luckily I get to do this with a super talented friend (

C) I've also put a couple of new things in my online shop ( Maybe pick up some super limited hand printed goods and help me survive a month in expensive London.

D) You may as well have a look on my website. ( I'm still building//updating it, but there are a few new things.

Thanks. Godspeed.

The Hobbit

My talented friend Danny recently set up a small collective//group to set briefs and projects to keep us motivated in these tough post uni times. It has only just begun and very much in the beginning stages. But once things are rolling expect lots of things. Challenge One was to create a book jacket for The Hobbit.

Two colour screen print.

As I go.

Here is an experimental piece. I want to start playing around more with layering different colours on top of each other in order to produce another colour. In the future the blue will need to be a little lighter, which in turn will also make the green a little lighter. This should bring all the colours together onto the same level. Unfortunately some of the type isn't legible. However there is potential.

Three colour print. Run of five.

New prints

Hello internet, sorry for being so quiet generally and in terms of illustration. I'm not really sure where the past few months since graduating have really gone, but hopefully more artwork will be produced more steadily from now on.

Here is a couple of new prints to ease my way back into the world of printmaking.

One colour. The line work was drawn in by hand on each print. Each is a limited edition run of seven.

Detail shots.

Hoping to have some of these on sale sometime next month.

Also Mr Henson has just realised a new album filled with miserable songs. Its good. Go listen
