Shop.

Hello internet. I have finally got an online shop selling me screen prints. A super cool thing is that I am selling things along side hot shot illustrators such as Tom Gould and Graham Carter. I will (hopefully) be constantly updating this as and when I create new prints.

Please go have a look HERE

Awesome.

Coming Down

October has been a miserable month. Part of the reason for this is due to screen printing. Lots of things have been going wrong and as a result my screens are basically useless, not only is this super expensive, but it also puts me way behind schedule. However these said screens have now been shipped off to be stripped and re-meshed. So while I wait for those I decided to play around with lino cutting...

I haven't used this print method for about a year, so it was surprisingly fun.

Also the cat has taken to sitting on peoples desks // work this week.

Murmurations

A couple of weeks after my exhibition at New Designers I received a lovely email from a very positive and friendly woman named Helen. From what I gather Helen works in the childrens book department at a rather successful publishing house called Harper and Collins. In this lovely email Helen wanted to see some more characters that were in a similar vein to my foxes, she also asked if I had thought about putting the fox character into a story. This is what I sent her...

A collection of character prints and one full artwork print.

The full artwork print came from a kids book that I wrote. I've never done something like this before, so the whole experience was all very refreshing and exciting.

(I'm going to save the storyboard images for another blogpost.)

Character Prints:

All of this was packaged up and sent off this morning.

There is nothing guaranteed in doing this but it was nice to create some new artwork for a different reason compared to my usual prints.

The future holds more prints // shop // greeting cards // a move to London.

eight

I created a quick simple print to test out this new paper I purchased.
(300gsm recycled elephant poo paper)
Its super good.

The whole process took a lot longer then originally planned. Lots of set backs due to under exposing screens and general screen printing struggles. Patience is key.

The Worth Of The World

One of my latest projects was for Falmouth's Quotes and Sayings book. I created a six layer screen print of a frozen looking landscape.
